ForrestHR founder wins silver in National Business Women Awards finals

We’re delighted that our founder and director, Sophie Forrest, won silver in the Best Business Service category at the gala final of the prestigious national Best Business Women Awards 2021 in London on Friday (15th October).

Sophie’s silver award for Best Business Service is recognition of her growth of the ForrestHR brand, with the addition of Forrest Training Academy and Forrest Health & Wellbeing in the last year to provide holistic people support for small- and medium-sized businesses. The Best Business Service category included competition from accountants, laywers and recruiters.

“I’m delighted that the work of my team in expanding ForrestHR to provide a suite of services to meet the ever-increasing needs of our clients across such a turbulent period for businesses of all shapes and sizes has been reflected with this award,” says Sophie.

Sophie recently won Female Entrepreneur of the Year and Most Outstanding Emerging HR Consultancy Firm at the Global Business Insight Awards 2021 and was a runner-up in the Entrepreneur of the Year category in September’s Kent Women in Business Awards.

Now in its 7th year, the Best Business Women Award organisers say the competitors had to be more tenacious and inventive than normal to bring their businesses successfully through the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic – making the judging a harder job than ever.

Jacqui Falvey, a Senior HR Consultant at Forrest HR and a Director at Forrest Training Academy says “I’ve seen first-hand how incredibly hard Sophie has worked both to ensure our clients had the best possible advice as HR rules were being rewritten almost daily through the pandemic and to extend the range of services that ForrestHR offers so we have a holistic service offering, so it’s fantastic to see this recognised nationally”
